This whole body fitness class is designed for adults of any age and fitness level. It can be modified for the individual. No prior dance or fitness experience necessary.
Rhythm & Movement incorporates three elements:
1. Dancing to get our body warmed up and moving to the rhythm of beautiful music.
2. Strength and conditioning of the core: abdomen, arms and legs. We do this standing and on our mats.
3. Yoga type positions and stretching exercises to improve flexibility and balance.
Bring an exercise mat (thicker than a yoga mat) and a set of 1-pound or 2-pound weights.
