Thank you for your interest in Colonial Heights Christian Church! Since 1958 CHCC has been a place where people of all ages and walks of life can come together to connect to God, His Word, and His people. We pray that this website will act as a link in making that connection for you.

Below we have provided information regarding What to Expect When You Visit and the Nursery, as well as links to our beliefs, the staff, service times, and Sunday School information for all ages. We invite you to explore the Welcome Center and then come by and visit us in person. At CHCC you will find many things that cannot be described on a site or screen. You will find the love of God and church family. You will find people who have examined the claims of Christ and found Him to have the answers to life's questions. And you will find changed lives.

Each changed life is a result of the grace of God. He loves and passionately seeks those who are far from Him. Consider the parables told by Jesus of a lost coin, a lost sheep, and a lost son. He spares no effort to reach them; that is the amazing heart of our God. We at CHCC strive to reflect His heart through loving, seeking, serving, and reaching.

~ WHAT TO EXPECT WHEN YOU VISIT ~

You have a place at Colonial Heights Christian Church, and we hope you will come by soon. When you visit you will see people of all ages and walks of life in everything from jeans to skirts to coats and ties. Everyone is welcome.

Service Times are offered throughout the week. On Sunday mornings you will have a choice of three services: Traditional at 8 a.m., Contemporary at 9:30, and Blended at 11:00. As a part of worship, The Lord's Supper is offered to all believers. The communion plates are passed throughout the pews and those who wish to partake do so. Each service lasts approximately an hour. Coffee, orange juice, and doughnuts are offered in the Fellowship Hall between all services and between classes.

~ NURSERY INFORMATION ~

The Nursery is available for infants and toddlers to two years of age during all services on Sunday morning (toddlers two years of age may participate in Sunday School Classes if parents prefer). It is also open during evening services on Sunday and Wednesday. The nursery suite is secure yet very convenient, located just outside the sanctuary. Beepers are provided so parents/care givers may be contacted during the service if needed, and matching security tags are issued to the child and parent/care giver.
