Wes McElravy, Senior Minister: [EMAIL: ] 
Wes has served in ministry 13 years and has been at Colonial Heights Christian Church since March 2007.  Prior to ministry, Wes worked in the corporate world of accounting for eight years. His educational experiences include a bachelors degree in accounting from Milligan College and a bachelors in Ministry from Johnson Bible College, and he is currently working toward his masters degree in N.T. Wes has been married to Jennifer for 21 years. They have two daughters, ages 21 and 17. Wes enjoys all sorts of sports, golfing, and hunting, and he enjoys bicycling for exercise!

Ed Dean, Associate Minister: [EMAIL: ]
Ed joined the staff of CHCC in September 2008. He was born and raised just north of Boston, Massachusetts and spent ten years in the Air Force as an airplane mechanic. After completing his bachelor’s degree and obtaining a commercial pilot’s license, Ed flew for a major airline and eventually landed in Savannah, where he became involved in small group ministry in his church. While attending Savannah Christian Church, the Lord placed a calling on his heart for full-time ministry. He went back to school and earned his master’s degree at Johnson Bible College. In 2007 Ed left the corporate world and was called to Antioch Christian Church in Oconee, Georgia, where he served as senior pastor. He now serves as associate pastor of the Life Connections and First Connections Ministries. His ministry goals are simple: connecting others to God, His Word, and His People. He enjoys reading and motorcycling.

Jeremy Green, Youth Minister: [EMAIL: ]
Jeremy grew up in a very small town in northern Illinois (Erie), where he had the chance to watch youth ministry from his dad. Because of his dad's passion, Jeremy too became very passionate about helping teens discover the love, salvation, and relationship they can have through Jesus Christ. He attended Johnson Bible College, got married to his lovely wife Jenny, moved to Indiana for three years where he did ministry, and then moved here to CHCC. He loves students and hopes to be able to get to know you and help you in your journey with Jesus!

Lane Rhoades, Director of Children's Ministries: [EMAIL: ]
Lane grew up in Kingsport as a preacher’s kid, graduated from Milligan College with an education degree, and later studied music at ETSU. She has seven years' experience as a children’s minister and many more as a volunteer. Prior to coming to CHCC, Lane did a combo stint as children’s minister and worship leader for several years. She loves traveling, especially to her favorite place – Edisto Beach!  Lane is passionate about giving kids a foundation in the word of God and loves leading worship for kids.

Melissa Woods, Music Director: [EMAIL: ]
Melissa has been involved in music ministry for the past ten years, six of which have been at CHCC. After graduating from Milligan College and spending 12 years in corporate accounting, she is thrilled that God has allowed her the opportunity to follow her passion--ministry thru music. Grateful for the power that is found in music and the creative arts, Melissa loves helping others use their abilities to give praise to our God. She and husband, Jon, are proud parents of three children--Mikaela, Chandler, and Macy.

Carolyn Hammond, Administrative Secretary: [EMAIL: ]
Carolyn grew up in Kingsport where she attended city schools, graduating from Dobyns-Bennett High School. She has been employed at CHCC for over 14 years. Carolyn and her husband Raymond have three grown children, Regina, Tina, and Mark, who have blessed them with seven grandchildren. She receives great pleasure spending time with her grandchildren and reading. Carolyn is a member of Sunnyside Baptist Church.

Carolyn Ross, Receptionist: [EMAIL: ]
Carolyn has been a member of CHCC since 2004 and church secretary since September, 2005. She is married to Bob Ross. They have three children: Caroline, a student at Liberty Law, Ian, a student at Quillen Medical, and Phillip, a student at Wake Forrest Law. Carolyn is an avid animal lover. She feels blessed to be working at CHCC and most enjoys the interaction she has with people and the opportunity to serve them.

Anndria Miller, Parish Nurse: [EMAIL: ]
Anndria Miller, RN, was called to serve as our parish nurse in 1998. Anndria obtained her Master's Degree in Education from Appalachian State and her BS in Nursing from ETSU. Her first career was in teaching, where she taught for 18 years. Anndria's nursing experience includes medical and surgery step down care, home health, and hospice. She and her husband, Jess, have been members of CHCC since 1990. They enjoy traveling, hiking, swimming, bird watching, and reading. Anndria likes to bake homemade breads and try new recipes. She delights in watching others grow in relationship with Christ and in seeing fellow Christians seek God's purpose in their lives.

Mark Nester, Property Coordinator: [EMAIL: ]
Mark Nester, Property Coordinator, has been a member of CHCC for over 30 years and has seen the church grow from the A-frame to its current facility. He has served the congregation as Deacon, Secretary to the Board, Property Chairman, Choir member, and Audio/Visual Technician, and he helps out in the kitchen. He also serves as the Information Technology Ministry Chairman. Mark is married to Cathy and has two daughters and three grandchildren. In his spare time Mark enjoys gardening and cooking.
