CHCC is a missions-minded congregation. From Kingsport to rural Kentucky to Romania, the goal is the same--to encourage and facilitate the love of Jesus.

THE MISSIONS TEAM

The purpose of the Missions Team is to encourage and facilitate the love of Jesus as evidenced by local, national, and global efforts to go into all the world, to make disciples, and to teach obedience to God's commands.

CHCC supports missionaries who are willing to preach Christ openly and who are willing to baptize and make disciples of those who respond to the Gospel.

We support ministries that support the poor and downtrodden including ministries to widows and orphans as well as other compassion-focused ministries in a manner consistent with Christian doctrine.

We adopt the role of being accountable to CHCC in relation to missions. This includes providing wise and prayerful stewardship of missions dollars, developing criteria for initial and continuing support decisions, promoting congregational awareness regarding missions and creating personal ties with missionaries, and developing future leaders in missions ministry.
