FAMILY PROMISE (formerly Interfaith Hospitality Network): A coalition of churches banding together to reach out to families in crisis.  Service opportunities include cooking meals, visiting with families, and overnight hosts.  Read more…

MISSIONS TEAM: Encouraging and facilitating the love of Jesus as evidenced by local, national, and global efforts to go into all the world, to make disciples, and to teach obedience to God’s commands. Opportunities include local and world-wide trips to serve those in need.

SENIORS’ MINISTRY (J.O.Y.-Just Older Youth): Reaching and ministering to the needs of all senior adults 50+ within the church and our community. Opportunities include quarterly meals and occasional day trips to local places of interest.

FOOD MINISTRY: Sharing the love of Jesus Christ by caring for the spiritual and practical needs of the community. Opportunities include helping with Monday distributions and Saturday deliveries. Read more…

MUSIC MINISTRY: Worshiping God, glorifying Him, and encouraging His people. Opportunities include serving on a worship team or in the choir.

WOMEN’S MINISTRY: Providing a secure and nurturing environment, embracing one another, where ALL women will be ministered to and, in turn, can minister to others. Opportunities include small groups who meet in homes or at church, spring and fall Bible studies, service groups within the church, Zumba fitness, and an annual retreat.

PARISH NURSE: Working closely with congregations of faith to enable the members to live enriched lives, physically, emotionally and spiritually. Service opportunities include sending cards of encouragement, transporting people to appointments, and making prayer shawls.

FIRST CONNECTIONS: Helping ensure visitors and guests feel noticed and welcome. Opportunities include serving as greeters, ushers, guest services attendants, and on the traffic team.

PROPERTY: Maintaining and developing the real property to include the interior and exterior of all structures and the grounds that surround them. Opportunities include serving on lawn mowing teams, helping with Saturday chair set-up, and carrying out special projects.

RECREATION: Encouraging fellowship and good health through sports and common interests. Opportunities include playing on basketball teams or softball teams.

INFORMATION TECHNOLOGY: Connecting church members, staff, and leaders to each other and to the community. Opportunities include planning for future technological needs of the church.

MEDIA: Working behind the scenes, helping to bring music and video to church services and special events.

FINANCE: Ensuring that all funds received into the Church Treasury are properly accounted for, disbursed in such a manner as to support the Church’s Mission and Vision, and reported in accordance with the Church By-Laws.
