The First Connections Ministry is oftentimes the first point of contact for CHCC Visitors and Guests, as well as members. This ministry includes Greeters, Ushers, Guest Services Attendants, and Traffic Team members.

Why is the First Connections Ministry important?

First Connections is important because this may be the place where a guest or visitor first encounters Jesus Christ and His church.  And anyone who is  discouraged or downhearted can have spirits lifted with a smile, a warm friendly greeting, or a simple “good morning.”  In everything we say and do, we always want our visitors and guests to know that Colonial Heights Christian Church is a Christ-Centered church.

How can I be involved?

We ask that you choose a part of this ministry where you would be able to commit your time, your prayers, and your gifts and talents for at least 4 months. Whether Greeter, Usher, Guest Services Attendant, or Traffic Team, all are important and all are vital to the success of this ministry.  We ask that you pray about this and then make the commitment.
