Since 1958 Colonial Heights Christian has been a church with doors wide open to everyone. The heart of CHCC is connection--reaching out in love to people with the gospel, leading them to a life-changing connection to Jesus Christ, and coming together as part of God's family. A continuous prayer of CHCC has been that God would bring an increase, and He has again exceeded expectations. As a result, we have found the need for a third expansion to the facilities.

The Building to Serve Campaign kicked off in early 2009, and construction began in early 2010. The new expansion will include six classrooms, a library, eight offices, a workroom, a large youth room, a kitchen, a full-size gymnasium, and an elevator that will service both the new and existing buildings. We look forward to having additional room for the children and youth, consolidated offices, and facilities for church and community events.

Building to Serve is ultimately not about the building. It is about serving God and serving others. Imagine how our families and community will be affected as they visit CHCC and hear the Good News of Jesus Christ. We pray this project will be a tool in God's hand, helping us all connect to God, His Word, and His People.
