Bruce Montgomery, Interim Minister

Bruce received his M. Div. from Christian Theological Seminary, and his Ph.D. from Bowling Green State University in Interpersonal and Public Communication. He has been married to his lovely wife, Carol, for 43 years. They have three children and eight grandchildren. They praise God that all of them live here in East Tennessee. Bruce is originally from Indianapolis, Indiana where he grew up in the Englewood Christian Church. He has preached for 27 years, and the last 16 years he has been a Professor of Communication at Milligan College. His goal in ministry is to love people into the Kingdom.
Jeremy Green, Youth Minister

Jeremy grew up in a very small town in northern Illinois (Erie), where he had the chance to watch youth ministry from his dad. Because of his dad's passion, Jeremy too became very passionate about helping teens discover the love, salvation, and relationship they can have through Jesus Christ. He attended Johnson Bible College, got married to his lovely wife Jenny, moved to Indiana for
three years where he did ministry, and then moved here to CHCC. He loves students and hopes to be able to get to know you and help you in your journey with Jesus!
Tabitha Martin, Director of Children's Ministries

Tabitha grew up in North and South Carolina and graduated from Johnson Bible College. After serving for three years at Northeast Christian Church in Grand Junction, Colorado, she moved back to the south to serve here at CHCC. Tabitha is organized and creative. She is very excited about the potential for spiritual (and numerical) growth in
the Children's Ministry, and CHCC is excited to be serving with her.
Anndria Miller, Parish Nurse

Anndria Miller, RN, was called to serve as our parish nurse in 1998. Anndria obtained her Master's Degree in
Education from Appalachian State and her BS in Nursing from ETSU. Her first career was in teaching, where she
taught for 18 years. Anndria's nursing experience includes medical and surgery step down care, home health, and
hospice. She and her husband, Jess, have been members of CHCC since 1990. They enjoy traveling, hiking, swimming,
bird watching, and reading. Anndria likes to bake homemade breads and try new recipes. She delights in watching
others grow in relationship with Christ and in seeing fellow Christians seek God's purpose in their lives.
Melissa Woods, Music Director

Melissa has been involved in music ministry for the past ten years, six of which have been at CHCC. After graduating from Milligan College and spending 12 years in corporate accounting, she is thrilled that God has allowed her the opportunity to follow her passion--ministry thru music. Grateful for the power that is found in music and the creative arts, Melissa loves helping others use their abilities to give praise to our God. She and husband, Jon, are proud parents of three children--Mikaela, Chandler, and Macy.
Carolyn Hammond, Administrative Secretary

Carolyn grew up in Kingsport where she attended city schools, graduating from Dobyns-Bennett High School.
She has been employed at CHCC for over 15 years. Carolyn and her husband Raymond have
three grown children, Regina, Tina, and Mark, who have blessed them with seven grandchildren. She receives great pleasure spending time with her grandchildren and reading. Carolyn is a member of Sunnyside Baptist Church.
Carolyn Ross, Receptionist

Carolyn has been a member of CHCC since 2004 and church secretary since September, 2005.
She is married to Bob Ross. They have three children: Caroline, a student at Liberty Law,
Ian, a student at Quillen Medical, and Phillip, a student at Wake Forrest Law. Carolyn is an avid animal lover. She feels blessed to be working at CHCC and most enjoys the interaction she has with people and the opportunity to serve them.
